The Hunter family bought Robin’s Nest Day Nursery in April 2000 and we continue to be actively involved in the management of the Nursery on a day-to-day basis. We believe that this level of involvement and attention to detail is absolutely necessary to ensure that the Nursery offers and maintains the highest possible quality of care, all delivered in a loving and homely environment. Our Nursery team is qualified and dedicated and we are registered with the Southern Health and Social Care Trust.

Sitting comfortably in its own ¾ acre site, its bright and welcoming facilities are often cited by parents as one of the key determinants in choosing Robin’s Nest to provide their childcare needs. It is a well known fact that most of our ‘new’ customers join us as a result of a recommendation from an existing or past customer.

We frequently hear from parents that our long-standing reputation in the area as a very hands-on, loving family-run nursery is the primary reason for the extent of advance Registrations we have enjoyed for quite some years now. Because of this, and to avoid disappointment, we advise prospective customers to visit us as early as possible to check us out and to discuss availability, etc. We don’t ask that prospective customers make an appointment to visit, preferring instead for them to just call without notice to see how we run things day to day. We do however suggest that they avoid daily sleeping-time ie 12 noon to 2.00pm.
